this time last year

When I actually close my eyes and give myself a minute to think about the things I've been through and done in the last 12 months makes this time last year feel like a life time ago.

My life this time last year was great, probably better than most but I knew something was lacking.
My career was great, I was offered to do a project which had great opportunities. I was fit and healthy and was very much in routine playing in 3 comps a week in the evenings.
My social life was active and at times hectic trying to balance my family and friends with doing things outside working hours and my comps.
My life was hectic.

The big issue was in my relationship. "Oz", which I'll call him by to protect his identity, was my long term boyfriend. As usual, was pre-occupied with his own projects and was planning his trip to Singapore to work on a project with a friend. By this time our relationship felt like we no longer talked and our lives were taken over by everything else. I no longer talked about what I wanted and have stopped telling him about how I felt and went about my business doing my own things which didn't really involve him. Oz didn't seem unmoved by all of this and for months, we lived our lives pretty much separately.

second beginning

Well I decided to delete the first blog I wrote this time last year which initially justified the reasons which inspired me to blog but I read it this morning and thought nah, it's no longer the same reasons why I want to write again.

A hell of a lot has happened in the past 12 months and I have gone through so many things which were firsts to me and I know I will be going through many more firsts in the next 12 months. My life has definitely reached a very significant part and for this, inspires me to open another chapter in the blogging world.
